American River Grill

History

There were very little food choices in the community back in 1990.  People would have to drive 20-30 minutes to Auburn or Georgetown to get any prepared food.  So we started making our sandwiches at the Cool Deli with the Famous Tri-Tip Sandwich as the star of the show.  As the surrounding area grew and more river rafting tourists came to the American River there was a need for even more prepared food options so we opened the American River Pizza and Grill.  We now serve lunch and dinner and offer local beer and wines along with fabulous homemade desserts
