Saturday, March 7th 8am-3pm
ARC volunteer & board member Scott Vail will lead this Snowshoe hike (5-6 miles). Well-behaved dog on leash OK. The hike will be on one of two new trails in the vicinity of Ice House Reservoir. Actual trail will be dependent on parking and more importantly snow cover. The hike will be out and back. Duration will depend on the participants but between 3-5 miles.
Bring: appropriate attire and shoes, water, snowshoes, poles, food (snowshoes and poles can be rented at REI). Donations appreciated. ALSO bring hiking shoes if that option proves to a better idea that snowshoeing on dirt. Well behaved dogs (on leash) are welcome-especially to break trail. Meeting location Placerville area. Suggested Donation: $10/members, $15/non-members. REGISTRATION LINK
