BEGINNING BOTANICAL ILLUSTRATION

Professor Vanda Lavar will be leading this Botanical Illustration event, which will be based upon her soon to be released book, "Painting Flowering Herbs". You will discover that most flowers are herbs! Students will learn Botanical drawing and painting techniques, and aspects of color theory. Vanda holds a master's degree in art. She regularly teaches classes in botanical illustration, and her works are widely collected in both the USA and Europe. Ages 12+ welcome. Meeting location Gold Hill/Placerville.
