Scotch Broom Removal Party - Henningsen Lotus Park

Join ARC and County Staff from 9am to noon on Sunday, March 15th for good company and VERY satisfying work as we remove invasive Scotch Broom from this well loved county park.

Every plant we remove, eliminates hundreds of seeds that can remain viable for 30-60 years and establish in other areas along the river corridor. Last month just six people cleared three dump trucks worth of Scotch Broom in three hours. Imagine what a few more volunteers might accomplish!

Long sleeves, pants, gloves and eye protection are recommended.
