Saturday, November 8th 10am-12pm

In this class, we'll learn how to prepare fire cider, first popularized by herbalist Rosemary Gladstar in the 1970s. The tonic contains apple cider vinegar (ACV), honey, onion, garlic, herbs, and other ingredients that may help support health and wellness. You'll learn about the properties of the ingredients and then make your own batch of fire cider to take home.  Jessica Carew Kraft is a California naturalist, wild food forager, and author of Why We Need to Be Wild: One Woman's Quest for Ancient Human Answers to 21st Century Problems (Sourcebooks, 2023). Responsible 10-year-olds+ welcome.
