The Divide is located in beautiful El Dorado County between the Middle and South Forks of the American River, nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Foothills and Northern California's Gold Country.  Access is through Hwy 50 and Hwy 80, making it in close proximity to the metropolitan city of Sacramento and the recreational activities of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Foothills.

The Divide Chamber Of Commerce (DCOC) is made up of the following communities:  Cool, Garden Valley, Georgetown, Greenwood, Kelsey, Pilot Hill, upcountry communities including Volcanoville, Quintette and Chiquita.

These communities are a haven for those who enjoy boating, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting and horseback riding, and they are well known for their fine wineries and specialty agriculture. Some events to watch for are The Founder's Day Celebration, The Christmas in Cool event, The Christmas Parade of Lights (Georgetown) and the annual Jeep Jamboree Expo.

We operate as a volunteer organization as a Chapter of the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce.

The Divide Chamber of Commerce is an opportunity to network with other local businesses and to promote your company.

Our intention is to cultivate a successful business climate on and near the Divide and to support existing and new businesses.
