Ken Calhoon - President
Ken Calhoon and his wife Vicki have lived on the Divide for the last 15 years. He has been a practicing real estate and mortgage broker for over 30 years and writes a weekly real estate and finance column for California oldest newspaper, the Mountain Democrat. Ken also serves as a Board Member for the El Dorado County Chamber and is an active participant with the Cool Pilot Hill Advisory Council and the county’s Economic Development Committee. Cathy Sarmento - Past President
I'm a confirmed transplant, born in NJ we moved to rural Marin, CA which imprinted my young mind, then off to the burbs of San Jose until 1988. We came to the foothills to visit friends and when it was time to raise our 2 girls my husband Mike and I picked Cool to call home. I've been in sales since I was 10, selling mistletoe to city folks at Christmas, Girl Scout Cookies, a Retail pet store and I was also a bird trainer and had parrots on display out at Marriott's Great America. We still have parrots along with hounds, fish, sheep, cats & whatever strays in. I love to cook when I have time and anything with water snorkeling, swimming, fishing, boating and gold panning. Gardening brings me peace, flowers & veggies. I've been a career professional Realtor since 1990. I added Field Trainer/Mentor teaching new agents in addition to my own business, at my previous brokerage. I enjoy the diversity the business brings to my circle of knowledge. What better job to have then selling the American dream in one of the most wonderful places on earth.
Stina McDaniel - Treasurer/Web Master
Stina McDaniel has owned and operated a few different businesses in the automotive and restaurant industry. She currently puts her business and financial management skills to use as owner of McDaniel's Auto Repair in Greenwood. She takes an active role in the community and volunteers her time on the board for The Divide Chamber of Commerce. She was named volunteer of the year in 2011 by the Georgetown Divide Recreation District.
